My first wedding of the year was a beautiful one, Liz and Craig were really easy and comfortable to work with their colour choice was peaches and cream flower choice was completely mine! The venue was Curds Hall just up the road from me, I’d never worked there before so was excited about that too. The weather was cold but sunny , I’d done lots of prep the week before getting all the jars and vases ready for the flowers to arrive! Flowervision are fantastic suppliers and always deliver early , so as soon as they arrived I was up and getting them cut and into water for a good drink before I had to use them! Thursday evening I started doing the jars as had to deliver them Friday to the venue and do the pedestals on site put all the jars out and get the venue ready for the big day! Then home again to do the bridal flowers and thankyou bouquets, then up early on Saturday morning to do buttonholes and corsages, then off to deliver them. The bride and her mum were completely overwhelmed as was I totally the reaction I was after! You know you’ve got it right when that happens! I now planning the next wedding at the end of the month! I just love working from home it’s the best decision I’ve made, other than of course working with Ian I feel so lucky to of done both of these things. 💐
